There are lots of women who would love to lose the extra pounds but simply don’t have the time in the day to get it done.


Whether you’re working a full time job that keeps you busy from sun up to sun down, or you’re home watching over children 24/7, there are ways in which you can lose the weight and still have enough time in the day to do the things you need to handle most. Instead of sticking to a dieting plan that will not work, or purchasing costly gym memberships you should consider some of the suggestions listed below to get you fit and trim in no time at all.

Diet tips for busy women:
1. Since dinner times can be a bit crunched, many women will order take out or go to a fast food place simply to get it out of the way. Instead you should consider making your meals over the weekend and having them set in microwave safe containers for fast preparation times during the busy work week. This prevents the urge to want to eat out and allows you to save money and lose weight.

2. Instead of running to the vending machines all the time at your job and other places, you should really consider buying more fruits and veggies when you’re out shopping. Once you get home from the grocery store, simply bag them up for later as they can really serve as great healthy snack choices.

3. Many busy women skip out on the most important meal of the day. While you might think that skipping out on breakfast will help you shed a few pounds, it actually does the opposite. Instead, you want to make sure that your breakfast is one of the bigger meals of the day so that you don’t feel tempted throughout the day to snack on things you don’t need.

4. Another great dieting tip for those busy moms is to make sure that you incorporate a lot of fiber into your diet. Fiber helps you to feel fuller for longer therefore curbing the urge to eat as much. Another added benefit is that fiber is often a very low calorie food choice and therefore helps you stay trim.

5. Another quick tip that many forget is to drink lots of water. Water provides energy, keeps you hydrated and can also curb some of those afternoon cravings you have.

Along with these dieting tips, you’re also going to need to incorporate exercise as well for a healthy combination. Below are some tips you can try to help improve your health.

• So maybe you can’t fit a full 30 minute workout into your schedule. This does not mean that you can’t incorporate a 5 minute session throughout your day that includes things such as lunges, squats, and even running in place. Consider doing this before you get ready for work and even when you’re ready for bed for a good workout.

• Instead of always using the elevator, consider using the stairs as much as possible to help burn calories throughout the day.

• Another great idea is to park your car at a further distance so that you will have to walk a bit further to get to the store. It might seem a bit daunting but you will soon start to see the results.
